Mobile Watch

This volunteer group patrols the streets of Franklin Village bringing unusual activities to the attention of the police. Their activities, in cooperation with the village Police, help keep our neighborhoods safe.

Mobile Watch welcomes new volunteers. In terms of time, participation takes as much or as little time (an hour per month) as you want. The "neighbors watching the neighborhood" program involves patrolling either your home zone (one of six Franklin Mobile Watch zones) or more.

Mobile Watch also offers many presentations promoting neighborhood awareness, fire safety, disaster preparedness, self defense and online safety throughout the year. Presentations are offered throughout the year during our Mobile Watch Meetings held the last Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall.  Presentation times may vary.

To join, and make a difference, please contact Officer Kimberly Bonacorsi (our Mobile Watch liaison) at the Franklin-Bingham Farms Police Station at:  248-626-9672 or stop by at the station: 32311 Franklin Road
