Meg Schubert re-located to Southeastern Michigan from the City of Mount Pleasant. She joined the Village of Franklin bringing a profound understanding of non-profit organizational practices, coordinated public services and progressive community development strategies. Her demonstrated commitment to inclusive and thriving communities can be seen in her tenure serving as Executive Director of the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center. Meg attended Central Michigan University, where she completed her undergraduate degree and obtained her master’s in Public Administration.
As the Executive Director of Main Street Franklin/ Director of Economic Development, Meg works closely with Village Officials to promote the business community while preserving Franklin’s rich history. She brings a passion for community development and strives to promote, advance and preserve a vibrant Village Center.
Businesses operating within the Village of Franklin are required to obtain an annual business license. All licenses expire annually on November 30th of each year. Please use the links below to review the application & ordinance.
