Southfield Township consists of three villages, Franklin, Bingham Farms and Beverly Hills, and some unincorporated areas. The township handles elections, animal control, tax collection, merchant and animal licensing and ordinances for the areas it represents. The Trustees meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Township offices.

Animal Control - call (248) 540 3420
    Southfield Township currently contracts for animal control services.  The Animal Control Program offers limited assistance in wild animal control and has live traps to lend.  They pick up strays, remove dead animals from roads and keep records of lost and found animals in the Township.  To report a problem, call the Township offices Monday thru Friday form 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm. at (248) 540-3420.  If the problem requires immediate assistance during evening hours or weekends, call your Village Public Safety Department or Police Department.
