  • IMILLAGE INFORMATION - The Village of Franklin will have two ballot propositions on the February 28th primary ballot.  One is to restore the Fire millage which funds the operation of the Fire Department.  The second is a General Fund millage increase earmarked for the operation of the Police Department and to restore the Village's rainy day fund.  Additional information is available here.
  • MUNICIPAL BENCHMARK DATA - The Village has identified similarly sized communities and obtained audits from those communities.  A review of various financial metrics has been compared in a chart for fiscal year 2010-11.  Click here to see how the Village of Franklin compares to other similar communities.
  • CITIZENS GUIDE AND PERFORMANCE DASHBOARD FOR 2012 - A Citizens's Guide to finances and Performance Dashboard have been prepared for the Village by accounting students at EMU, at no cost to the Village.  Click here to read the reports in their entirety.
  • PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY - The Planning Commission has a vacancy and interested residents should contact the Village Clerk to express their interest in serving on the Commission.  Information on the role and duties of the Planning Commission are available by clicking here.

  • VILLAGE TREASURER POSITION - At this time the Village is soliciting letters of interest from residents to fill the position of Village Treasurer.  Click here for information on the position.  Please contact the Village Clerk to express your interest.
