Franklin - Bingham Volunteer Fire Department
The Franklin-Bingham Volunteer Fire Department is rich in history and tradition. It is an organization of neighbors helping each other. In service since the 1930's, the Department demonstrates the continuing tradition of volunteerism that characterizes the villages of Franklin and Bingham Farms. The department is led by a full-time professional fire chief and is comprised of a team of 40 volunteers who are certified firefighters, licensed emergency medical personnel and support staff who serve without compensation.
We focus on providing responsible, professional fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services. Our mission is to serve residents, neighbors and all citizens when called to action. We create value by executing our services in a cost effective, high quality manner.
The fire department periodically sponsors CPR training for resident groups and regularly visits schools and organization gatherings to discuss fire prevention and safety techniques.
