The Village of Franklin is accepting application for the position of Police Officer.  Candidates must be M.C.O.L.E.S. certified (proof of certification attached to the application) with a minimum three (3) years experience as a full time Police Officer and currently employed as a Police Officer.  Candidates must possess an Associates Degree or 60 hours from an accredited college or university.  Candidates must pass an oral interview, physical exam, psychological exam, drug screening and an extensive background check.  Candidate must have no criminal convections and an acceptable driving record.

An application packet can be downloaded from the Internet (Police Officer Application) or picked up at the Village of Franklin Police Department, 32311 Franklin Road, Franklin, Michigan   48025, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  The applicant must deliver completed applications, along with a résumé, in person, by 4:00 pm on October 9, 2006.  EOE
