1248.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS.
The Village of Franklin is hereby divided into zoning districts known as follows:
R E Estate Residential District;
R L Large Lot Residential District;
R-M Modified Low Density Residential District;
R 1 Low Density Residential District;
R 2 Medium Low Density Residential District;
R 3 Medium Density Residential District;
R 4 Medium High Density Residential District;
RO 1 Restricted Office District;
C 1 Commercial District;
P 1 Vehicular Parking District.

1248.02 ZONING MAP.
The boundaries of the districts established in Section 1248.01 are shown upon the Map attached to original Ordinance 101, passed February 20, 1970, and made a part of this Zoning Code, which Map is designated as the Zoning Map of the Village of Franklin. The Zoning Map is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Village of Franklin, and all notations, references and other information shown thereon are hereby made a part of this Zoning Code and have the same force and effect as if said Zoning Map, and all such notations, references and other information shown thereon, were fully set forth or described herein. A copy of such Zoning Map follows the Appendices following the text of this Zoning Code.
Except where references on said Map to a street or other designated line indicate otherwise, the district boundary lines follow lot lines or the centerlines of the street or alley rights of way, or such lines extended, and the corporate limits of the Village of Franklin, as they existed at the time of the adoption of this Zoning Code.
