The Zoning Board of Appeals is made up of seven (7) residents appointed by the Village Council for three-year terms. The purpose of the Zoning Board of Appeals is to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error of law, an error in the determination made by the Village Building Official in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance, or an ambiguity in a part of the zoning ordinance. The Board also hears cases where there are practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship in the way of carrying out the strict letter of the Zoning Code. MembersJ.
