Franklin Mobile Watch

Franklin Village residents volunteer their time in a “neighbors watching the neighborhood” program. Under the direction of the Franklin Police Department, these dedicated citizens, assigned to a day each month, travel approximately 42 miles through the village alerting police of any suspicious activities. In addition, a telephone relay system is employed through “Mobile Watchers” in an emergency. Monthly educational programs and publicity through the village newsletter inform residents of measures that can protect self and property. Meetings are held at Broughton House the last Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm. All village residents are invited to attend.
